Threadless vs Threaded Labrets: Which Do You Need?
Threadless labrets use a push-fit system where the decorative top inserts into the post and is held securely by tension. They're easier to insert and remove, making them ideal for hard-to-reach piercings like conch and daith. Threaded labrets have internal threading that screws into the decorative end, offering a more traditional secure fit. Both systems are equally safe and comfortable—the choice comes down to personal preference and your piercer's recommendation.
Finding the Right Labret Length
Labret length is crucial for comfort and healing. Fresh piercings require longer posts (typically 8-10mm) to accommodate swelling.
